Benzaquin (Paul) is born in Quincy.

Paul Benzaquin grows up in Quincy, becomes a reporter for the Boston Globe, and hosts his first radio program on WEEI in 1960. He hosts an afternoon talk show from 1963 to 1969, subsequently declaring, “You’re voice is your weapon.” Except for a year in Chicago, he remains at WEEI until 1976, then moves on to WBZ, WITS, WHDH and WRKO. Benzaquin dies in Duxbury on February 13, 2013.
